Rental Rules & Conditions
1. Photo ID Required
A valid photo ID is held as a deposit while you are in the water and stored securely. Surfers Cove is not responsible for loss or damage. IDs are not typically returned by post. Please collect before leaving.
2. Return to Surf Shop
All equipment must be returned to the Surf Shop after your session.
3. Late Returns
Returns made more than 45 minutes after the session may incur an additional rental charge. For multi-session bookings, boards must be returned between sessions.
4. No Refunds for Early Returns
No refunds are issued for unused time. If asked to leave by staff, a rental voucher will be provided.
5. Equipment Check
Report any damage before entering the water. Damaged boards cannot be used. Do not modify equipment without staff approval.
6. Responsibility & Damage Policy
While in your care, all equipment is your responsibility. Lost or stolen items must be paid in full (market value). Do not leave equipment unattended.
Damage charges:
- Small ding: covered by Surfers Cove
- Medium ding: €30 to €50
- Major ding: €60 to €100
- Total loss: €450
At rental, the customer must:
- Provide a credit card deposit
- Sign a liability agreement
- Accept responsibility for any damages (charged accordingly)
Repairs
All ding repair operations (transport, handling, repairs) are managed by Despomar to ensure speed and quality.

Surftech softboards included with Beginner, Cruiser, and Cruiser Plus sessions.
Range includes 7'0" funboards, 8'0" mini-malibus, and 9'0" longboards, built for safety, stability, and maximum fun.
